Japanese cabinet (c. 1920) rectangular top over two doors, opening to two drawers and three open shelves Original brass hardware.

Height 35 inches, width 25 1/2 inches, depth 15 inches.



The beautiful flame wood is a variety of zelkova most probably Keyaki. A far more expensive Meiji period example of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood.

More beautiful than burl wood? Discuss !

Solid piece but lift able by one person.

The top has some usual light wear but no damage/chips anywhere.
